Anett Pötzsch

Anett Pötzsch - Rauschenbach ( born September 3, 1960 in Karl- Marx-Stadt as Anett Pötzsch ) is a former German figure skater, which was launched in a single run. She is the Olympic champion of 1980 and the world champion of 1978 and 1980.

Career as a figure skater

Anett Pötzsch was registered with the SC Karl- Marx-Stadt for figure skating at the age of five years. In 1971 she came to the training group of the former figure skating world champion Gabriele Seyfert, who stood at the beginning of her coaching career. A year earlier Pötzsch had already achieved a second place at the Children 's and Youth and was able to repeat this success in 1972. Following the resignation

At the height of her career Pötzsch resigned after winning the Olympic gold medal in figure skating from the spring of 1980.
