Ángel Edo

Ángel Edo Alsina (* August 4, 1970 in Gava ) is a retired Spanish road bicycle racer.

Ángel Edo Alsina started in 1992 at the Olympics in Barcelona and finished the road race in 15th place From 1992 he drove for the Spanish cycling team Kelme. In a total of eight, he won in whose service the Ruta del Sol and the Gran Premio de Llodio. In 1994 and 1995 he competed in the Tour de France.

Edo's main achievements were two stage wins in the Giro d' Italia Giro d' Italia in 1996 and 1998. 2000 he moved to the Portuguese team Maia MSS. He celebrated stage wins at the Tour of Asturias, the Algarve tour, the Tour of Portugal and in the Catalan week. In the 2005 season he drove for the ProTour team Saunier Duval- Prodir. As of 2006 drove Edo for the small Spanish team Andalucía -Paul Versan, won a stage at the Vuelta a Castilla y León and wore the leader jersey for a day. The following year he ended his cycling career.
