Angela Nikodinov

Angela Nikodinov ( born May 9, 1980 in Spartanburg, South Carolina ) is an American figure skater. She is the daughter of Bulgarian immigrants and speaks fluent Bulgarian.

She is in San Pedro, a suburb of Los Angeles who grew up and trained in Lake Arrowhead. Your coach is the former individual runners Igor Paschkewitsch, former coaches are Peter Oppegard, Frank Carroll, Elena Tcherkasskaja and Richard Callaghan.

While the U.S. Championships in 2005 in Portland (Oregon ), she and her family were involved in a car accident in which her ​​mother was killed. Nikodinov denied since no more competitions, also due to the injuries she had suffered in the accident.

Her achievements are winning the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in 2000 and fifth place in the World Championships 2001.

Nikodinov coached the Bulgarian figure skaters Ivan Dinev and American junior runners in Torrance ( California).

On October 8, 2006 Angela Nikodinov launched her comeback as a professional skater. It will appear on the show " Michael Bolton Tribute On Ice ", and run as a guest on " Stars On Ice" in 20 cities.
