Angela Williams

Angela Williams ( born January 30, 1980 in Bellflower, California) is an American sprinter who is successful in the 100 - meter dash and the 200 -meter run.

Career

At the Track Junior World Championships 1998, she was second in the 100 -meter run.

At the World Indoor Championships in 2001, she won the silver medal in the 60 - meter dash. In the outdoor season, the same year she was nominated as a substitute runner in the 4 x 100 meters relay at the World Championships in Edmonton. She denied the lead, but could only watch in the finals.

Winning the silver medal in the 60 meters they could repeat at the World Indoor Championships in 2003. They also became the first leg of the 4 x 100 - meter relay silver medal at the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis. As a sixth- place finisher at the U.S. Trials for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she was nominated again for the season. In Athens, the squadron was however disqualified in the final.

In 2008, she won gold over 60 meters at the World Indoor Championships in Valencia.

Angela Williams has a competition weight of 53 kg at a height of 1.56 m.
