Ángeles de Puebla

The club Ángeles de Puebla was a football club from the city of Puebla in Mexico, whose team name refers to the full name of the city, they had once received from the Spanish crown: Puebla de los Ángeles (People of Angels).

The club was founded in 1984 with the acquisition of Erstligalizenz of itself only five years to the CF Oaxtepec from the Mexican state of Morelos. But the Angeles de Puebla was able at any time to move away from the overpowering shadow of the established local rivals Puebla FC. While Puebla always the play-offs reached in these years, always Angeles was eliminated in the first round. After four years Erstligazugehörigkeit the club sold his eligibility to play for the coming season (1988 /89) at the time of his newcomers Santos Laguna, which has since become an integral part of the Primera División counts.

Ángeles himself disappeared as fast as it once appeared. For the second league seasons 1999/ 00 and 2000/ 01 the club was again reactivated, and then again to take an abrupt end.
