Angelika Buck

Angelika Buck ( born June 9, 1950 in Ravensburg ) is a former German figure skater, which was launched in ice dancing.

Your Eistanzpartner was her brother Erich Buck. The siblings were trained by Betty Callaway in Oberstdorf and represented the ERV Ravensburg.

From 1968 to 1973 she was the sixth consecutive German Eistanzmeister. Their first major international medals they won in 1970 with silver at the European Championships in Leningrad and bronze at the World Championships in Ljubljana. It was the first Eistanzmedaillen for Germany at the World and European Championships. From this point, the Bucks were the strongest competitors of the most successful Eistanzpaares history, Lyudmila and Alexander Gorshkov Pakhomova from the Soviet Union. In 1971 she was in Zurich Vice - European Champion and Vice World Champion in Lyon. At the European Championships 1972 in Gothenburg succeeded Angelika and Erich Buck as a single Eistänzern in the period 1970-1976 at all to defeat Pakhomova and Gorshkov. Thus they became the first and to date only German European champion in ice dancing.
