Angelo Debarre

Angelo Debarre ( born August 19, 1962 in Saint- Denis ) is a French Sinto, guitarist and jazz musician. He mainly plays gypsy swing or Gypsy jazz.

Career

Angelo Debarre began playing guitar at the age of eight. His main musical influence was Django Reinhardt. In 1984 he founded the Angelo Debarre Quintet, with whom he went on tour. Debarre played among others, along with artists such as Bireli Lagrene, Jon Larsen, Stochelo Rosenberg, Tchavolo Schmitt, Hono Winterstein, Jimmy Rosenberg, Florin Niculescu and Diego Imbert. He recorded several CDs with the Hot Club de Norvège. With novels, Boulou and Elios Ferré it forms the quartet Django 100
