Angelo Schiavio

Angelo Schiavio (* October 15, 1905 in Bologna, Italy, † April 17, 1990 ) was an Italian footballer.

He played his entire career from 1922 to 1938 with FC Bologna and achieved in 179 missions in 109 Serie A goals, in 1932 he was top scorer in Serie A. During his career he won a total of four times the Italian championship. In the seasons 1924/25, 1928/29, 1935/36 and 1936 /37 Scudetto was won. 1932 and 1934 he also won the Mitropa Cup with the club. Overall Schiavio graduated in his career 342 league games for FC Bologna and scored 244 goals.

On November 4, 1925 Schiavio was first appointed to the Italian national football team. With the Football World Cup 1934 in Italy he was world champion. He also finished with four hits along with Edmund Conen behind Oldrich Nejedlý the second in the scoring charts. After the World Cup, he retired from the national team. Overall, he played 21 international matches and scored 15 goals.
