Angelo Thomas Acerra

Angelo Thomas Acerra, OSB ( born November 7, 1925 in Memphis, Tennessee, USA; † 26 July 1990) was auxiliary bishop in the U.S. Military Ordinariate.

Life

Angelo Thomas Acerra joined the Congregation of the Benedictine and received on 20 May 1950, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On September 29, 1983, Pope John Paul II appointed Titular Bishop of Lete and appointed him auxiliary bishop in the U.S. Military Ordinariate. The Coadjutor Archbishop Military of the United States, John Joseph Thomas Ryan, donated to him on November 29th of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in the U.S. Military Ordinariate, Joseph Thomas Dimino, and Francis Xavier Roque.
