Anggun
Anggun ( born April 29, 1974 in Jakarta, Indonesia, Anggun Cipta Sasmi real name ) is an Indonesian pop singer, who also has French citizenship since 2000.
Career
In 1995 she moved from her Indonesian home to Paris. Already with their first international single La neige au Sahara / Snow On The Sahara could attract attention and number 16 in France show (her biggest hit so far ). The same position it reached in 2005 with the title Être une femme. For the feature film Our Earth in 2007, she sang the song Un Jour Sur Terre and served in the French version as narrator of the film. It was followed by a collaboration with the German Global - pop and ambient project Schiller.
In May 2012, Anggun represented her adopted country France at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan, and reached the finals of the 22nd place.
