A glimmer of racial Anglo-Arabian stallion

The Anglo-Arab - referred to in Poland as Malopolski - is one for about 150 years, bred mainly in the south of France, Poland and England horse breed that is a cross between an English Thoroughbred and Arabian breeds.

Exterior

The Anglo-Arabian is a noble sport horse bred with the aim to combine the advantages of both the breeds.

The head sits on a well shaped neck, which rises a sloping and long shoulder. The withers are clearly separated and goes into a strong, short back. The hull is narrow and deep, the hindquarters are well angulated and muscled. The croup is slightly sloping and goes over to a carried tail. The foundation is dry, the joints very clear. The hooves are small and hard.

The Anglo-Arabian is bred for performance and sometimes has therefore little mistake. However, the transitions are always covering ground and flat, pronounced the galloping and jumping ability.

Interior

Every year there are regular meetings where horse races are held to assess the performance of horses bred. The Anglo-Arabian is a versatile riding horse. It is rugged, tough and excels in all disciplines by a pronounced willingness to perform from. In particular, in eventing horse he plays its strengths. At Olympic Games and World Championships he has helped many riders on medals.

Breeding history

Through wars and trade relations with the Moors established in Spain, it came quite early to import oriental horses in the south of France. The Crusaders brought from their military campaigns in the Near East more horses into the country. Finally, the preference for Napoleon Arabian stallions led as the body of horses to promote the breed by leaving the station captured in Egypt stallions at stud Pompadour.

Anglo - Arabian

The Anglo - Arab blood ( short AAV) is a subset of the Anglo-Arabian horse breed, they are also called Anglo - Arabs of the first section out.
