Anguillita

Anguillita is a small, rocky Caribbean island off the south-western tip of Anguilla and heard how the main island of the same name British overseas territory. The uninhabited island measures about 300 by 100 meters and is separated from Anguilla by a nearly 400 -meter-wide estuary. In the middle of the island, a narrow channel runs so that Anguillita at least is at high tide from two islands and some rocks.

Anguillita has no sandy beaches and tourist undeveloped, the waters around the island are interesting for divers. End of the 20th century was carried out on Anguillita a field experiment to investigate the spread of Caribbean lizards of the genus Anolis. These animals a foreign Anolis species have been introduced and studied the interactions with the native lizards.
