Anheuser-Busch InBev

Anheuser -Busch InBev (AB - InBev NV) - based on volume - the largest brewery group in the world. It was created in 2008 through the acquisition of Anheuser -Busch by the Belgian- Brazilian InBev Group. The company is listed on the Brussels stock exchange Euro Next. It employs over 150,000 people and is represented by over 200 brands in over 140 countries. The global beer production is 358.8 million hectoliters; corresponding to a global market share of 18.6 percent.

Economic Development

In 2010, reported among others, the Münchner Merkur in Germany on the role of brands spade and Löwenbräu - as they should no longer play a role after the realignment of the Group. Through acquisitions AB Inbev has continued to grow. So the international part of the Mexican Grupo Modelo has been taken over ( excluding USA ) with the world famous brand Corona 2013. AB Inbev it goes, with the acquired companies to take advantage of synergy potentials, thereby saving costs.

Early 2014 took over AB Inbev for a total of $ 5.8 billion South Korean suppliers Oriental who comes there to a market share of 60 percent.

Participation in the cartel
