Animatism

In animatism inanimate things are considered to be revived. Accordingly, they have their own ability to think, their own will and their own emotions. The animatism was longer than the precursor of animism and is therefore also called pre-animism. Maretts view that the animation of inanimate natural phenomena of force, known in anthropology as Mana, is attributable, however, could no longer be met due later findings.
