Anise Koltz

Anise Koltz, born Blanpain ( born June 12, 1928 in Eich, Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg writer.

Life

Anise Koltz visited the Lyceum 1940-1947.

She was the founder and organizer of the poet Mondorfer days that have brought together from 1963 to 1974 and from 1995 to 2001 Luxembourg and foreign authors, especially German and French in Bad Mondorf. From 1972 to 1975, Koltz librarian at the Thomas Mann Library, the Luxembourg branch of the Goethe -Institut. Anise Koltz lives in Luxembourg. She was married to René Koltz, a Luxembourg physician. It is the filmmaker's grandmother Beryl Koltz.

Relation to the German language

The occupation has brought it about that Koltz had to confront a student intensively with the German language and literature. Hence it is that their first works were written in German. 1971 dies her husband René Koltz from the effects of torture by the Nazis. These elements explain the difficult relationship of the author to the language, especially to the German language. Progressive she writes more and more rare in German to be completely covered in the 1980s, the language and just have to write French.
