Anita Gara

Anita Gara ( born March 4, 1983 in Budapest) is a Hungarian chess champion.

Individual successes

Anita Gara was appointed to the International champion of women ( WIM) 1997, in 2001 she received the title of Chess Grandmaster Women ( WGM ) and 2009 the title of International Master (IM). The required IM norms they had met in April 2003 at the First Saturday in Budapest, in October 2004 at the Chess Olympiad in Calvia and in November 2008 when TENKES Kupa Open in Harkány.

Anita Gara was in the years 2000, 2001, 2009 and 2013 Hungarian woman champion and won the 2004 WGM tournament of the Gold Cup in Szombathely. With their best Elo rating of 2405 in January 2005 Anita Gara came in 51st place in the FIDE world ranking of women and first place in the ranking of the Hungarian woman then active players.

National

Anita Gara took with Hungary in the years 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2012 at five Chess Olympiads of women in part and took it 30 points from 46 games.
