Anja Edin

Anja Marie Hammer Seng Edin ( born February 5, 1983 in Porsgrunn, born Marie Anja Edin ) is a Norwegian handball player. She plays at Larvik HK in the Norwegian Elite Series and in the Norwegian national handball team.

Hammer Seng Edin initially played handball at Stridsklev and Herøya. In the 2001 /02 season the backcourt player was active for Gjerpen Håndball. After she was subsequently active for two years Sola HK, they returned to Gjerpen. As of 2008, they threw their doors for Storhamar Håndball. In addition Storhamar she trained a youth team. Since the summer of 2012 Hammer Seng Edin runs on for Larvik HK, with whom she won the 2013 championship.

For the Norwegian selection denied hammer Seng Edin been 59 games in which they scored 143 goals. Together with the Norwegian team's right-handed won 3rd place at the 2009 World Championships in China. After they played a single international game more as of September 2010, she was nominated on November 6, 2012 by Þórir Hergeirsson for the 2012 European Championship in Serbia. It was then named the most valuable player of the tournament and won with Norway, the European vice- championship. The Norwegian continued to participate in the World Cup 2013.

She lives since 2010 open with their Norwegian teammate Gro hammer Seng Edin in a relationship. In August 2013 the couple married.
