Anja Feldmann

Anja Feldmann ( born March 8, 1966 in Bielefeld ) is a German computer scientist.

Life and work

She studied computer science at the University of Paderborn and received her diploma in 1990. Subsequently she joined the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (USA), where in 1991 her Masters and Ph.D. 1995 acquired. After four years as a postdoc at AT & T Labs Research, she followed various Call, 2000 at the Saarland University, then in 2002 at the Technical University of Munich, and since 2006 has been professor of Internet Network Architectures at Telekom Innovation Laboratories at the Technical University of Berlin. Since 2010 she is also Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and computer science at the TU Berlin.

In May 2012, Anja Feldmann was elected as the first woman on the employers' side in the Supervisory Board of SAP.

Feldmann is mainly concerned with the Internet traffic analysis and modeling, as well as the Internet routing.
