Anja Richter

Anja Richter ( born October 5, 1977 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian Water Diving.

Life

Anja Richter began as a four- year-old with the water jump. In 1991 she won a gold medal at the European Youth Championships. She took from 1996 to 2008 at four Olympic Games part. Together with her partner Marion Reiff she reached in synchronous jumping competition at the 2000 Olympic Games and at the 2001 World Championships respectively fourth and won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1997.

In 2006 Richter won the silver medal at the European Championships in Budapest in singles and was third in the overall World Cup. In December 2008, she announced the end of their sporting careers.

Anja Richter was from 1998 time soldier of the Armed Forces and completed in 2005, the College of Communication industry. From 2006 to December 2008 she was a spokeswoman for the Austrian Swimming Federation and from 2007 also spokeswoman for the Vienna organizing committee for the European Football Championship 2008. Since January 1, 2009 she is lecturer in the Sports Office of the authorities responsible for the sport of Defense.
