Anka Muhlstein

Anka Muhlstein ( born 1935 in Paris ) is a French historian.

She has published several monographs, inter alia, on Robert Cavelier de La Salle and James de Rothschild. For their Astolphe de Custine biography she received the 1996 Prix Goncourt.

In 1974 she married Louis Begley and moved to New York City with him.
