Ankylosis

Ankylosis ( from the Greek: αγκυλος - bent, curved) is the medical term for the caused by disease processes in the interior of a joint, total joint stiffness. This may be due to ossification of the joint space or in the interior of the joint ( intra-articular ) scarring.
