Anmitsu

Anmitsu (Japanese馅 蜜, dt " refried beans Honey " ) is a Japanese dessert.

It contains red beans, agar agar, Adzukibohnenpaste, as well as fruits, such as orange, pineapple, banana or cherry. These ice cream is served, poured over the whole thing with black honey ( Kuromitsu ). Main distribution area of this dish are mainly Kyoto, Asakusa, Ueno and Kamakura.
