Ann Biderman

Ann Biderman ( born August 15, 1951) is an American screenwriter.

Life

1984 Biderman was involved in the story for the film American Dreamer. After that, she only came back as a screenwriter in the 1990s in the series New York Cops - NYPD Blue in appearance. For this she was awarded an Emmy. There followed three thriller, only in the 2000s she returned to television.

1997 was based on their screenplay, the film adaptation Smilla's Sense of Snow, which goes back to the homonymous book by Peter Høeg.

Biderman developed the television series Southland (2009-2013) and Ray Donovan (since 2013). Both she was also involved as an executive producer.
