Ann-Elen Skjelbreid

Ann- Elen Skjelbreid (* September 13, 1971 in Bergen ) is a former Norwegian biathlete.

Ann- Elen Skjelbreid won at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games in Nagano and bronze in 2002 in Salt Lake City silver team. At the World Championships 1996 in Ruhpolding, she won silver over 7.5 kilometers in the 1995 World Cup in Antholz, she won bronze in 1997 in Osrblie silver team. In the World Cup, they had to be content with six second places. In 2006, she ended her career.

Ann- Elen Skjelbreid is rooted family in the Norwegian biathlon. Her sister is Liv Grete Poirée, her brother thus the Frenchman Raphael Poirée. Even she is married to Egil Gjelland, in October 2004 their daughter was born. Liv Kjersti Eikeland is a cousin.
