Ann Gerry

Ann Thompson Gerry (* 1763, † 1849) was the wife of prominent U.S. politician Elbridge Gerry, who was from 1813 to 1814 Vice President of the United States. She was Abigail Adams, the second Second Lady of the United States, as Thomas Jefferson, Aaron Burr and George Clinton during their tenures were widowers.

Ann was the daughter of a wealthy merchant from New York and married Gerry in 1786. The couple had 1787-1801 ten children together.
