Ann Goldstein

Ann Goldstein ( born 1957 in Los Angeles ) is an American museum director.

Life and work

Goldstein was born in Los Angeles in 1957 and studied at the University of California, Los Angeles.

From 1983 to 2009 she worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles as chief curator and put their focus on minimalism and conceptual art.

2010 Goldstein was general director of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. On 1 December 2013, it resigned from this office.

Goldstein has curated numerous exhibitions. It is among other things for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and the K21 active in Dusseldorf.
