Anna Chromý

Anna Chromy ( born July 18, 1940 in Krumlov ( now Czech Republic ) ) is a painter and sculptor.

Life

At the end of the Second World War, Anna Chromy's family moved to Vienna. Her family had not enough money for an artist's training and so it was only possible after their marriage and moved to Paris to begin an education. She was educated at the École des Beaux -Arts and became an actress of the surrealist world. After a life-threatening accident in 1992, she spent eight years not to paint in the situation. She turned her attention to sculpture and worked with bronze and marble. Chromy lives in France and works in Italy.

Studio

Anna Chromy has studios in Pietrasanta, Tuscany, where the bronze foundries Fonderia Artistica Mariani and Massimo Del Chiaro are. For their marble sculptures she has worked in the studio of Massimo Galleni in Pietrasanta. In Carrara, they formed in " studio Michelangelo" Franco Barattinis, a private school of sculpture.

Conscience Art

The most popular work of Anna Chromy is the empty coat, known as "Cloak of Conscience ," Piétà or Commander that is. Before the Salzburg Cathedral, the Estates Theatre in Prague, the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, and many other places was Currently Anna Chromy is busy the mantle in a five-meter high chapel transform (2010).
