Anna of Saxe-Wittenberg

Anna of Saxony ( † April 18, 1426 ) was the wife of Duke Frederick of Brunswick- Lüneburg, the German anti-king.

Anna of Saxony, was the daughter of Wenceslaus I, Duke of Saxe- Wittenberg from the family of Ascanians Elector of the Holy Roman Empire and Duke of Lüneburg, and his wife Cecilia Carrara born.

In 1386 she was married to Duke Frederick of Brunswick- Lüneburg. The couple had two daughters. 1400 Frederick was elected king of Germany, the election was not recognized by three electors. Friedrich was murdered a month after the election on the way home.

Anna 's second marriage was Landgrave Balthasar of Thuringia. This marriage remained childless.
