Anna Pinnock

Anna Pinnock is a British production designer who has been nominated three times for an Oscar.

Career

The sister of conductor Trevor Pinnock worked in 1994 for the first time as a production designer for the British comedy film Four Weddings and a Funeral. Her first Oscar nomination, together with Stephen Altman, she received at the Academy Awards in 2002 for Gosford Park in the category Best Art Direction. At the Academy Awards 2008, she was once again, this time with Dennis Gassner for the film The Golden Compass, nominated in the same category. Your last nomination for Best Production Design at the Oscars, she was awarded in 2013 with David Gropman for her work in the adventure drama Life of Pi: Life of Pi, which was released in theaters in 2012. Life of Pi received a total of eleven nominations. That same year she also worked as a production designer for the British agent for water James Bond 007: Skyfall, which was nominated for the Academy Awards five times.
