Anna Rokita

Anna Natalia Rokita (born 30 January 1986 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian speed skater.

Anna Rokita grew up as the daughter of one who was born in Austria to Poland in Tyrol. She celebrated her first success with the bronze medal at the Austrian Championships 2001 in the all around. In the same year she started then in the all-around World Youth Championship in Groningen, where she reached the 24th place. A year later, in Renon she reached the 13th place. After three further starts at Junior World Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and the first Austrian Champion title in 2003 in Innsbruck in the sprint, she started first time in 2005 in the all around competition European Championships in Heerenveen. Right away she reached the 15th place. In the Winter Universiade in 2005 in her native Innsbruck, she won the 5,000 m silver medal. At the Olympic Games in Turin in 2006, it reached over a distance of 3,000 meters in a time of 4:12,87 16th place. Competing over 1,500 meters occupied the only 18 -year-old Tyrolean, which are still visited the BORG Innsbruck, with a time of 2:02,19 min. 27th place and more than 5,000 meters, it reached number 12 in the same year launched Rokita at the speed skating around World Cup 2006 in Calgary and there occupied the 22th place.
