Anna Winger

Anna Winger (born in 1970 in Massachusetts ) is an American writer who lives in Berlin. She grew up in Kenya, Cambridge (Massachusetts ) and Mexico and studied at Columbia University in New York City. Winger writes for The New York Times Magazine and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. For NPR Worldwide Winger designed the radio series Berlin Stories, a literary archive of the German capital.

Wingers first novel, This Must Be the Place, was released in 2008 in Riverhead Books.
