Anna Wysokińska

Anna Wysokinska ( born June 17, 1987 in Breslau, nee Anna Baranowska ) is a Polish handball player who belonged to the squad of the Polish national team.

Career

In the club

Anna Wysokinska started playing handball at the Polish club MKS Vitaral Jelfa Jelenia Gora and joined in 2003 SMS Gliwice. In 2006, the goalkeeper to the Stettin KS Łącznościowiec Polish Post Szczecin. After KS Łącznościowiec suffered from financial problems, she joined in 2009 SPR Lublin. With Lublin Wysokinska won the Polish Championship in 2010 and 2010 and won the Polish Cup in 2012.

Wysokinska signed in the summer of 2012 a three- year contract with the German second division side SV Union Halle- Neustadt. A season later she left prematurely hall and joined the newly promoted Bundesliga SG BBM Bietigheim.

In the National Team

Anna Wysokinska denied until 8 November 2013, a total 22 caps for the Polish national team. With the selection, the Polish goalkeeper took part in the World Championship 2013 in Serbia, where she finished fourth. During the tournament, she parried 48 of 157 Torwürfen.

Private

Anna Wysokinska has been married since 2013. Her younger sister Aleksandra Baranowska playing handball in the top Polish league, where she also guards the gate.
