Annabella (actress)

Annabella, Suzanne Georgette Charpentier actually, (* July 14, 1907 in Paris, † September 18, 1996 in Neuilly -sur- Seine) was a French film actress.

Life

Suzanne Georgette Charpentier made ​​her film debut in 1927 in Abel Gance's Napoleon as violin Fleuri. At the beginning of the 1930s she appeared in several French versions of German films. With the filming of Joe Mays Paris - Méditerranée she learned Jean Murat, whom she married.

The 30s were Annabella's main creative period. During this time she performed successfully in movies by Carmine gallon, René Clair, Paul Fejos, Erik Charell and Nikolas Farkas.
