Annaburg-Prettin

In the management of community - Prettin Anna castle in Wittenberg district in Saxony -Anhalt eight municipalities were merged to form the settlement of administrative transactions. Covering an area of ​​224.2 km ² lived 7611 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2009).

The management community was founded on 1 January 2005 from the merger of the administrative community Anna castle with the administrative community Heideck - Prettin. On 1 January 2011, all municipalities were merged to form a unified community Anna Castle.
