Annafest

The Forchheimer Anna festival takes place annually to celebrate the name of St. Anne on July 26 at the cellar mountain in the Upper Franconian town of Forchheim. During the ten -day festival operation has the Annafest around 500,000 visitors.

In 1516 a chapel was consecrated in the small town Unterweiler stream near Forchheim of St. Anne. Thither took the Forchheimer a small pilgrimage.
