Annai

Region

Annai is a municipality in the province of Upper Takutu - Upper Essequibo in Guyana. The village lies on the edge of the Rupununi savannah between the small mountains of Pakaraima Mountains, and on the Rupununi River. The community is located about 15 miles north of Karanambo and about 260 miles away from Georgetown. Most of the residents belong to the people of the Macushi. At the airport of Annai light aircraft can land.
