Anne-Caroline Chausson

Anne -Caroline Chausson ( born October 8, 1977 in Dijon, Cote- d'Or ) is a French cyclist. She is the most successful mountain biker in the disciplines of downhill and dual of all time.

Sports career

She won alone in the elite class 13 gold medals in the disciplines of downhill ( 1996-2003, 2005), 4-Cross (2002-2003) and dual (2000-2001). In addition at least another world title in the juniors, where they caused a sensation. She wanted to start early in the elite, but was only allowed in the junior class for their age by the UCI. In protest, she refused at the awards ceremony, which makes donning the junior champion jerseys. Chausson was convinced that we have also earned their time the elite jersey.

Anne -Caroline Chausson was discovered during BMX Max Commençal and long continued, along with Cedric Gracia in the Team Sunn. The three combines a good friendship to this day.
