Anne Delvaux

Anne Delvaux ( born October 20, 1970 in Liège ) is a Belgian television presenter and politician ( cdH ).

Delvaux visited the Université catholique de Louvain ( UCL short ), where she studied economics and communication sciences. From 1994 to 2007 she was a journalist and news anchor at RTBF, the public broadcaster in French-speaking Belgium. In parallel, she was a lecturer in journalism at the UCL.

2007 Delvaux left the RTBF to be politically active: From 2007 to 2009 she was in the Belgian Senate, and since 2009 she is a member of the European Parliament. Further, it was 2007 chairman of the Federal Advisory Committee on European Affairs (until 2009) and Deputy Chairman of the European Movement in Belgium. Since 2009, Delvaux member of the following committees and delegations: Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, Delegation for relations with the Pan-African Parliament, Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly. As a deputy she works: Committee on Foreign Affairs, Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality, Delegation for relations with South Africa.
