Anne Geddes

Anne Geddes (* September 13, 1956 in Queensland ) is an in Auckland (New Zealand) living photographer and fashion designer Australian origin, who is mainly known for their baby and maternity photography.

Biography

Geddes experimented in the early 1980s, first with the family camera and developed her personal style of photography. Your pictures, mostly with idealistic or dreamlike seemingly representations of babies and small children, she published in numerous books, calendars, greeting cards and other art products. In 1991 she founded with her husband the company Next Generation Enterprises Ltd.. , Through which it markets its products in over 50 countries worldwide. Part of the company's profits flowing in Australian and New Zealand child protection projects.

Together with Céline Dion was created in 2004, the project Miracle: A Celebration of New Life, a joint project, are combined in the songs and photographs with the subject new life and babies. 2004 and 2005 gave the French postal four of Geddes photographs as stamp series C'est une fille - C'est un garçon ( Eng.: It's a Girl - It's a boy ) out.

In addition to numerous awards for her work, she received the 1997 lifetime membership at the Professional Photographers of America and an honorary member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers ( NZIPP ). In 2004 she was appointed a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit ( MNZM ).

Anne is married to Kel Geddes since 1990. They have four daughters, two of which are from the first marriage of her husband.
