Anne Helin

Anne Helin ( born January 28, 1987 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish ice hockey player who is since 2007 Kärpät Oulu in Naisten SM- sarja under contract.

Career

Anne Helin began her career at Karhu -Kissat in her hometown. In the junior level, she played alongside hockey and football and bandy. For Karhu -Kissat she made her debut at the age of 12 years in the highest ice hockey league in Finland, the Naisten SM- sarja. Later she moved to Helsinki in Itä- Helsingin Kiekko (CCI Helsinki).

Since 2007 she plays for Kärpät Oulu in the SM- sarja and was chosen to the All-Star team in the league in 2008 and 2009. In 2011 she received the award as the best player of the season and was often to be found among the top scorers in the league.

Internationally

Anne Helin belongs since 2008 to the cadres of the Finnish national team and won with this at the World Championships in 2008, 2009 and 2011 the bronze medal. At the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010, she also won the bronze medal.
