Anne Meacham

Anne Meacham ( born July 21, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois, † 12 January 2006 in New York City ) was an American actress.

Anne Meacham was best known for her performances in plays both on Broadway and off- Broadway. Especially in pieces by Tennessee Williams brought her outstanding achievements. 1958 and 1960 she won the Obie Award for Best Actress.

Her best-known television role was that of Louise Goddard in the long-lived television series Another World (1964 to 1999). She played this role of 1972 until 1982.
