Anne Pringle

Dame Anne Fyfe Pringle, DCMG ( born January 13, 1955) is a British diplomat.

Life

Anne Fyfe Pringle joined the Foreign Service in 1977. It was from 1980 to 1982 worked in Moscow, then from 1983 to 1885 in San Francisco. In 1986, she was promoted to Brussels in the UKREP to the embassy secretary, second class, 1987, she was promoted at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to the embassy secretary first class and married Bleddyn Phillips.

As an embassy secretary first class was in 1991 seconded to the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union. From 1994, she was promoted at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for the Counsellor. In 2001, she dealt with in full-time language training. From November 2001 until 2004, she served as Ambassador in Prague.

On 12 June 2004 she was Companion, and on 31 December 2009 Dame Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George.

From 16 January 2009 to 2011, she served as Ambassador in Moscow.
