History

The Football Club d' Annecy was founded in May 1927, initially played only on a regional level. As a master of the Division d' Honneur, the club participated in professional status in 1942, but kept them only a year since 1943 professional football was banned in France. After the end of World War II, the club played again in the regional Division Honneur and qualified in 1948 as a champion for the newly created Championnat de France amateur, the team continuously remained there until its restructuring in 1970.
