Anneisha McLaughlin

Anneisha McLaughlin ( born January 6, 1986 in Manchester ) is a Jamaican sprinter.

Career

She was second at the IAAF World Junior Championships in 2000 in Santiago with the Jamaican 4 x 400 - meter relay and came in the Youth Athletics 2001 World Championships in the 400 -meter run to third place. The Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships 2002, she was first in the 100 and 200 meters. At the Track Junior World Championships in 2002 in Kingston McLaughlin brought before a home crowd of silver over 200 meters. The Youth Athletics 2003 World Championships in Sherbrooke won gold in the same discipline. In 2004 there was another silver medal over 200 meters at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Grosseto.

In 2009, she competed at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin, in the finals and reached with a time of 22.62 seconds for fifth place.
