Annekatrin Thiele

Anne Katrin Thiele ( born October 18, 1984 in Sanger Oberhausen) is a German Skull - rower. She won an Olympic silver medal in 2008 in the double sculls and quadruple sculls in 2012.

International success

• 2004: 2nd place U23 World Championships in the double sculls
• 2005: 2nd place U23 World Championships in the quadruple sculls
• 2008: 2nd place in the double sculls Olympic Games (Silver Medal)
• 2009: 3rd place World Championships in sculls
• 2010: 1st place European Championships in the double sculls
• 2011: 6th World Championships in One
• 2012: 2nd place Olympic Games in quadruple sculls (Silver Medal)
• 2013: Gold medal at the Rowing Championships, Seville, in the quadruple sculls.
• 2013: Gold medal at the World Championships in the quadruple sculls.
