Annette von Aretin

Annette of Aretino [ areti ː n] ( * May 23, 1920 in Bamberg, † March 1, 2006 in Munich; actually Adelhaid Marie Elisabeth Gwendolyn Felicitas Klein, born Baroness von Aretino ) was 1954, the first television announcer of the Bayerischer Rundfunk. From 1959 to 1980 she headed the casting office.

She gained popularity in 1961 as a member of the rate of long-lived teams ARD series What am I? with Robert Lembke. The overall rate team received the Golden Camera 1967.

As successor to Carl Voscherau she hosted from 1963 until its end in 1969, the rate of broadcast radio lottery of Norddeutscher Rundfunk.

Annette of Aretino was the eldest of three children of Baron Karl von Aretino (1884-1945) and his wife Elisabeth, née Baroness von Gebsattel (1887-1968) to the world. Her two younger brothers called Peter -Carl (1923-2002) and Erwein ( 1924-2008 ). She was a niece of the politician and writer Erwein Baron of Aretino and cousin of politician Anton Freiherr von Aretino and the historian Karl Otmar Freiherr von Aretino. Her nickname, which called them friends until old age, Putzi was. In 1956 she married Dr. Harald Klein ( 1913-1983 ). The marriage produced a son and a daughter were born.

The trained photographer began her career in broadcasting in 1947 as a freelancer for Radio Munich, the predecessor institution of the Bayerischer Rundfunk. The Munich-based director Kurt Wilhelm occupied the role of Annie's from Kalau in the early 1950s, popular radio show rag rug with her. In 1959 she rose to become head of the BR- casting office.
