Anni Steuer

Anni control, married Ludewig (* February 12, 1913 in Maiziers, today Metz, Lorraine, † after 1995 ) is a former German track and field athlete and Olympic medal winner in the mid- 1930s was one of the world's best 80 - meter hurdles runners.

Career

At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, she won the silver medal in 11.7 s after the Italian Trebisonda Valla ( gold ) and before the Canadian Elizabeth Taylor ( bronze). It scored four runners the same time; the order had to be determined by the target photo. Control started for TuS Duisburg 48 /99. At a size of 1.77 m, they had a competition weight of 67 kg. In 1959 she moved to Mülheim an der Ruhr.
