Annie Belle

Annie Belle (actually Annie Brilland; born December 10, 1956 in Paris) is a French actress. Her acting career began in 1974, during the 1970s and 1980s she starred in various French and Italian films. She worked there together with directors such as Jean Rollin, Ruggero Deodato and Joe D' Amato.

Life

Belle played in 1974 at seventeen, her first small role in Jean Rollins film Tout le monde il en a deux. Soon after, she went to Italy and was for a short time one of the most sought after actresses in the Italian Exploitationfilm scene. Three of the most important films were: Laura Emmanuelle Arsan with Annie Belle - Born To Love ( here she also worked as a writer with ) and Velluto nero with Laura Gemser. The latter was one of their most controversial films. Personal problems disabled Belles acting career in the 1980s, 1989, she played her last role in Luna di sangue.

Belle had 1975-1978 a relationship with actor Al Cliver and played together with him in several films.
