Annulus of Zinn

The tendinous communis (synonym: Zinn's ring tendons, joint tendons ring ) is a ring of tendons, which lies at the back of the eye socket immediately in front of the orbital apex, where it is fused with the bone.

He bridged in two places, the superior orbital fissure and divides the orbit into three floors, of which he encloses the middle and the optic canal. The annulus is tendinous origin of the rectus muscles, the superior oblique muscle, and the levator palpebrae superioris.
