Anococcygeal nerve

The Nervi anococcygei ( Anal -rump nerve ) several nerves of the coccyx plexus ( coccygeal plexus ), the lower end of the lumbosacral plexus. The nerve fibers originate from the inferior rami of the 4th and 5th Kreuzastes (S4, S5 ), and coccygeal spinal nerve branches. These pass through the coccygeal muscle and unite into a common trunk from which emerge the Nervi anococcygei. They innervate the skin of the anal region and the dam.
